Cilla's background in counselling emerged from her tarot practice - improbable as it may seem to some. As an artist, she had begun to paint her own tarot deck in 1973, and found that it was the gateway into a whole new world - of Jungian psychology, medieval history, alchemy, even new physics. When she used the cards in readings, she found them wonderfully accurate and perceptive. After reading for many years, a series of synchronous events allowed her to get the deck published, as The Intuitive Tarot. As a publisher author she began to read tarot professionally, and at the same time found herself producing another deck of intuitve cards, the Devas of Creation. The Devas - which depict The Shining Ones, began as a desire to paint angelic and elemental forces of energy in the universe, and ended up as the story of Creation. But even more than that, they enable people to see the possibility of change and transformation in themselves.

These two decks, used in combination, provide Cilla with a unique approach to intuitive readings. Compassionate, focused and intuitive, the cards offer an unbiased and accurate reflection of our lives at present, as well as glimpses into the future. However, the future is fluid - we ourselves are always the final arbiter on what comes into our lives, particularly through the way we think and perceive.

The readings will give you a different perspective on your past, present, and future, but they will not tell you how to live your life. They are often incredibly clear - and sometimes frustratingly obscure! But more than anything else, they are an Oracle, and humans have used different kinds of oracles since the dawn of time. Scrying in water, chicken livers, clouds, bird formations, stones ... we look for meaning everywhere. When you come for a Tarot reading, you become part of this ancient tradition.

Cilla is available for corporate events, parties, and one-to-one consultations. She reads at both Watkins and Atlantis Bookshops, is an endorsed member of the Tarot Association of the British Isles and was an ACE member of Tarot Professionals when it first started a couple of years ago (she has since withdrawn from this organization). She is often a guest speaker at Tarot conferences and seminars.

Consultations last one hour, weekly or fortnightly as agreed at the initial meeting.

Initial meeting: usually one hour, to discuss your needs and interests.

Fees: as agreed at the initial meeting. Some concessions are available for unwaged clients.

Initial course of treatment is 6 sessions. Any continuation will be discussed during the fifth session.

All consultations are strictly confidential – although cases are discussed with psychotherapeutic supervisors, no details that might identify you are ever revealed.
