Thoughts on a Multi-Dimensional Universe

Reading back on old books and journals, I see that I was already talking about the Devas being Multi-Dimensional energies in 1980 or so. If you think about it, of course, that makes complete sense … even in our limited 3-D world the idea that we inhabit the same dimension as everyone else is fairly laughable. I remember my brother saying that he could almost have been brought up in another family, our memories were so different (he didn’t remember anything before age 7, which I thought was quite strange). Then, when I began to paint what I call my Big Pictures (see, for instance, Night Dancers, in the Art tab) it was apparent that they didn’t inhabit the same spacial universe as we do – it was as if they existed at 60 degrees to us.  The more I read, the more I got that we understood very little – scientists explaining things in terms of atoms and particles, or even muons and god particles, miss the point. I’m not surprised they talk about dark energy … dark energy is what they have never really got their heads round, have they: dark energy is Mind, consciousness, not matter at all.

So mind can create matter, but matter cannot create mind. Or, to be more precise, Mind on the scale of the 11th Dimension Cosmic Consciousness can create matter. And that I guess is what the Multi-Dimensional Devas are all about. Our 3-D minds wouldn’t even be able to grasp the 6th or 7th dimension, so different would it be. We are so rubbish at diversity, so incapable of seeing the necessity of difference, that if we encountered a 6th Dimensional being we’d probably kill it (or try to).

Of course, the paintings in the Multi-Dimensional Deva deck are my concept of the different dimensions. We’ll never be able to see into these universes, unfortunately, although some people have amazing, lucid dreams where they wander through places we can barely imagine. I am fortunate to be able to paint such strange worlds, and even more fortunate to be able to share them with you. To get a glimpse of the worlds I’ve visualised, have a look at the Multi-Dimensional Devas page under Oracles (it also has its own website).

Disconnection in Time & Space

Disconnection in Time & Space

The disconnection in time is easy – I haven’t recorded any thoughts for a long time, mainly because I’ve been working on my latest – and last – deck, the Oracle of the Future. I’ve already explained a couple of times why it’s my last deck, but the easiest explanation...

Dark, Violent Forces

Dark, Violent Forces

Dark, Violent Forces   Things have been darkening since 2016, or at least that's how I see it. That was when Boris Johnson managed to get the British to vote for Brexit, by lying his head off. Then in January 2017, Donald Trump was voted in as President of the...

Pip decks

Pip decks

Thoughts on pip decks   I have never used a pip tarot deck. I'm certainly not alone in this - many people prefer pictorial minors. But somehow, the Old Gods Tarot - which I'm creating at the moment - wanted to be a pip deck. Perhaps that's projection (I certainly...

The SACRED MARRIAGE

The SACRED MARRIAGE

I had a dream a couple of nights ago mainly about a set of twins. Not surprising, perhaps, as I am reading a book at present featuring twins (The Alchymist by Michael Scott, which, by the way, I can thoroughly recommend). I don't remember much about the dream apart...

Thoughts on Paradox, Ambiguity and Uncertainty

Thoughts on Paradox, Ambiguity and Uncertainty

Humanity has never enjoyed uncertainties, and although we say we like mystery, we don’t, really. We do not deal easily with ambiguity. Things are either black or white (though we can manage grey - as a colour), up or down, dark or light. However, with the...

Thoughts on Working Backwards For the last few weeks I've been producing images and copy for my website, which has been created for me by my IT wizard. It's just as well that I finally shouted to him for help, because I can't think logically enough to create a website...
